You describe the job
Scope, budget, deadline, and the vibe of your brand. One short call or a written brief — whatever suits you.
Marketing & web talent brokerage
Every week I connect independent web talent with businesses that need a website built, rebuilt, or rescued — and I keep a small studio of my own work on the side.
Scope, budget, deadline, and the vibe of your brand. One short call or a written brief — whatever suits you.
A curated network of designers, developers and copywriters I've worked with and can vouch for personally.
You get weekly check-ins and a single point of contact. No agency overhead, no ghosting.
I spent most of a decade inside small agencies in Malmö and Copenhagen, building marketing sites for everyone from one-person studios to a furniture brand with 40,000 monthly orders. Somewhere along the way I noticed the same thing twice: good clients struggled to find good freelancers, and great freelancers lost weeks to finding work.
So now I do that matchmaking full time. I only introduce people I've worked beside — I can tell you how they handle scope creep, whether they answer email on Fridays, and what their code looks like under pressure. When I'm not brokering, I design and build a handful of sites a year myself, which keeps my hands honest.
A small, personal portfolio — new pieces added as projects wrap.

The next slot in the portfolio
I take on roughly six personal builds a year, booked one to two months out.
Nine specialists. Full profiles on request — I only introduce names that fit the job.
Product & web designer
Systems thinker, allergic to decorative dashboards. Strongest on e-commerce flows.
Front-end developer
Performance obsessive. Has never shipped a site that failed a Core Web Vitals audit.
Copywriter & content strategist
Writes in your voice, not hers. Turning founders' rambles into homepage copy is her party trick.
Full-stack developer
Headless CMS builds and calm handovers. Documents everything without being asked.
SEO & analytics
Technical audits you can actually act on, and the reporting to prove they worked.
Motion, illustration, campaign
Kept deliberately quiet here — ask and I'll send the right profile with recent work attached.
Visual identity, UX, and design systems for sites that need to feel like the company behind them.
Typical engagement: 3–6 weeks, from €6k. Most often Freja, sometimes me.
Marketing sites, headless CMS builds, performance rescues, and careful handovers.
Typical engagement: 4–8 weeks, from €9k. Jonas for headless, Tobias for speed work.
Copywriting, content strategy, and technical SEO — the unglamorous work that compounds.
Typical engagement: 2–5 weeks, from €3k. Ines writes, Selin audits and reports.
Launch campaigns and landing pages built to convert, measured properly, iterated monthly.
Typical engagement: ongoing from €2k/month. A small squad, one point of contact.
My brokerage fee is paid by the freelancer, not by you. The rate you're quoted is the rate they charge.
"We'd been burned by two agencies before Mara. She put us with Jonas, sat in on the first call, and the site shipped two days early. I've never had a handover so calm."
"Mara is the only broker I know who asks about my calendar before she sends me a lead. Every brief she's brought me has been real, scoped, and ready to start."
"She redesigned our checkout herself, then introduced the developer who rebuilt it. It's rare to get both the taste and the plan in one email."
Nothing up front. The freelancer's fee covers my brokerage, so you pay their rate and nothing else. There's no retainer and no obligation to hire anyone I shortlist.
Average kick-off is six days from first call. If your job is urgent, say so — two people on the roster keep a slot open each month for short-notice work.
Tell me by the end of week two and I'll re-shortlist at no extra cost, and help close out the first engagement fairly. It's happened twice in 42 matches, and both times the replacement started within a week.
Yes. Most of my clients are in the EU and North America, and half the roster is used to overlapping with EST afternoons. I work in English by default.
For design and small builds, yes — about six projects a year, booked a month or two out. Bigger jobs I'll bring in one or two people from the roster and project-manage.
Tell me what you need. I reply within one business day — with names, not a rate card.
